Albel Dash

Here is something for =kipinae! This is Albel from Star Oceans 3. He is a girly-man >:3 I got some reference pictures and they were of Albel from different games, so I might have mixed him up with his previous selves JUST a tad, and I know the armor isn't completely correct... but whatever, it's all right Artistic license and all that, you know 9w9

I know =kipinae wasn't expecting anything, but on a journal back in December she seemed sad that she wouldn't get anything for her DA Christmas. I told her I was planning something. Well, I was, but I didn't know quite what to do for her, and my busy-ness of the time ended up knocking me past the Christmas date (because at the time I was behind with other pictures, unfortunately). However, when I tell someone that I'm going to do something, I shall DO it, gosh darn it! So I sneakily asked her with one of those little "quizzes" that have been going around what her favorite character, scene, what have you, that she really liked. She said she liked Albel. So I made Albel :3

I do this for =kipinae because she is a nice friend firstly and foremostly! She has been a kind and fun person to talk to online. She gave me a bunch of AWESOME Finnish songs and has been teaching me Finnish. She's just been so very nice So this is to her!

On a personal note, I need to say that I really like this picture. I partly like it because it's the best dynamic scene I've done yet. I also like it because of its background, which came alive and gave Albel a little more movement (I was just going to do some stupid coloring job that was just... colors with no purpose O_o I'm so glad this just popped out of my Prismas TwT). I love the look on his face, which I think was true to the screenshots I was able to find online (he looked like he was smirking all of the time-- which is nifty :3). I had to redraw him 9 million times to make this silly pose come out, and although I know I'll come back to it in a few weeks or months and cry over its pathetic-ness, right now I'm so pleased with it.
