Oh my gosh, 15 hours, and on an oekaki! I'm totally impressed.
Some of the shading on the top of the...erm, head, I guess, looks so pixelated to the point of cheesy though, and his leg looks off from the rest of him...it appears to look less realistic than everything else in the picture, but it could just be me.
Other than that, it's great

You should be proud of this image! Dang, that's cool. It's art like this that makes me wish I could play BioShock (an inability to play PC games and a serious anxiety issues keep me away). Maybe the hubby will get a copy one of these days.

First of all, awesome game.
The texture is amazing! The metal looks all worn and used. The splotches here and there and how the light reflects off them adds a great sense of realism to this oekaki. And the light in itself is amazing...spot on. You've always had a knack for getting light sources and this pic proves that. The dim glow of the red light and how it's reflected off his armor gives this an eerie feel.
The colors you've chosen, the textures, the lighting, and the added effects (the crack in the window) really have the scary feel that this game has. His crotch-al area does look a bit funny, like he doesn't have a crotch at all...but then again, maybe Big Daddy's don't? Hehe. But having said that, it certainly does not take away from this pic.

All in all, fantastic job here SDB!

:\ Blame the compression, to a certain degree. It didn't look pixelated so much. That said, I'm still learning to do this Oekaki business and it requires different methods. Next time I'm going to try to do all solid colors, add texture later.

The legs do look more cartoony, I do see what you mean! And in fact, that's the second reason this image took me 15 hours D: The first reason: I couldn't figure out what color scheme to use. The second: What the heck is supposed to differentiate the pants from the metal since I'm only using 6 shades of blue? I tried all sorts of simplistic textures, but textures aren't my thing Plus it was so small. D: Actually, I don't care about the legs because they ACTUALLY WORKED. That's all I cared about at the end.

Plaaaay it. Usually I hate scary movies and games and avoid them like the plague. But in this game... the scary parts are actually fun; the setting is ingenious and beautiful; the challenge is well balanced; when you manage to do amazing things, you feel on top of the world. If you only watch it, you'll be entranced. This game is everything I usually avoid and I'm hooked, 'nuff said. The closest I ever got to it was playing Doom, and Doom was the only FPS I really played (...although I used cheat codes all the time. ). This game... is amazing. It is the second FPS I'll actually play seriously... and the first FPS I will finish without cheat codes

Although I probably need them. I really do play FPSes like a girl. One of these Big Daddies came flying at me and I started screaming and then I accidentally kept hitting the "F" button to reload my health bar and ended up wasting 3 Health packs. DURRR.

Here's to hoping you'll get to play/watch it someday
